Some of my highlights

AMI assistant teacher certified by the Maria Montessori Education Foundation in Auckland, New Zealand, along with AMS lead teacher certification through the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies, Kristana is a primary teacher at Forest Park Montessori School. With a love of the ocean, Kristana carries her home of Hawaii with her as she embraces the mountains and rivers of Colorado. Relocating with her two children and husband of 20 years, she is led by her caring commitment to the classroom and the children.
Kristana graduated with a degree in Nutrition as an Integrative Health and Wellness Practitioner, along with a license in massage therapy. It was when her son was 3 years old, and began attending the local Montessori school near her home in Hawaii, that she became deeply inspired to volunteer in the classroom. After 15 years working in the health industry and homeschooling her daughter, Kristana went back to school to obtain her Montessori certification.
Enjoying the fullness of life with her family is her greatest pleasure: cooking, traveling, hiking, biking, gardening, reading, snuggling, crafting, and making the most of every moment…just to name a few! Kristana has a great passion in sharing the incredible beauty and unlimited richness of life. Working with children expands that sense of purpose, and brings her great fulfillment.
