Board of Directors

Jeanne (pronounced Shauna) and her husband, Matt have two children, Maya and Maren. Jeanne has a PhD in molecular biology and runs a medical communications agency. She grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she attended a Montessori school from infancy through elementary school. Her experience with Montessori has played a huge role in her life by creating a sense of community, global responsibility, and love of learning. She’s thrilled for her children to be part of the Forest Park Community and to support the school’s vision by serving on the board.

Taren Villecco is mother to Pierce,  who is new to FPMS this year. Taren and her family are very grateful to be a part of the FPMS family.  Taren is passionate about education.  She has worked for Boulder Valley School District for the past twelve years.  Currently, Taren is working four days a week supporting teachers as a Literacy Specialist, working side by side with K-12 teachers across the Boulder Valley School District.  Taren received her Bachelors in Childhood Psychology and K-6 teaching license from the University of Colorado – Boulder, and her Masters in Teacher Leadership from Regis University.  As a leader in public education, Taren works collaboratively with students, educators, and parents of many different backgrounds and world views.  She is excited to bring her background in education and her deep love of children to the FPMS Board.

Katie Dove and her husband Jake have two sons, Owen and Isaac.  Katie received her BFA degree from Iowa State University and is currently managing a design team at New Hope Network in Boulder.  Jake and Katie grew up in Iowa and met in college.  Katie loves the Colorado lifestyle and loves going on adventures with her family.  The Doves are thrilled that their boys are able to attend FPMS and enjoy biking to school!
