Getting Started
Forest Park provides a group learning and care environment. While the Montessori method focuses on giving individualized lessons and working one on one with your child, we do not provide one on one care. Your child’s well-being and safety is Forest Park’s top priority. We want to make sure that our classroom environment and structure works for your child’s needs. We will work with parents to insure we can provide such an environment within reason, any accommodations that would result in undue hardship to the school’s classroom, student experience or financial sustainability of the school may be declined.
During your child’s one on one visit with the Head of school their readiness for school will be assessed. During this evaluation we will see if your child can follow three-part directions, communicate their needs effectively, conduct themselves in a safe manner within the classroom and if your child is fully toilet ready. Once your child is deemed ready a spot in the school may be extended to you.
