Taren Villecco is mother to Pierce, who is new to FPMS this year. Taren and her family are very grateful to be a part of the FPMS family. Taren is passionate about education. She has worked for Boulder Valley School District for the past twelve years. Currently, Taren is working four days a week supporting teachers as a Literacy Specialist, working side by side with K-12 teachers across the Boulder Valley School District. Taren received her Bachelors in Childhood Psychology and K-6 teaching license from the University of Colorado – Boulder, and her Masters in Teacher Leadership from Regis University. As a leader in public education, Taren works collaboratively with students, educators, and parents of many different backgrounds and world views. She is excited to bring her background in education and her deep love of children to the FPMS Board.
Lisa Witter is mother to Ferran. Lisa earned a BA in marketing from the University of Iowa, and later a MA in psychotherapy from Naropa University. She has worked with at risk youth as a counselor, nannied for 30+families, and operated as an event planner for Naropa. However, since 2008 she has been self-employed. Lisa’s business offers digital marketing to businesses, and also career/business counseling to adults. She is excited to help support the vision, direction, and practical issues surrounding Forest Park Montessori, and its ability to offer a thriving nourishing, grounded, caring day-to-day experience for both students and teachers.
Megan Specht is the mother of Liam and Hadleigh Specht. She received her undergraduate degree from CU Boulder and her Master’s degree in Communication Disorders at Appalachian State University. She moved to Evergreen, CO as a teenager and has since lived in Denver, Lakewood, and Louisville. Megan is a speech language pathologist with Jefferson County Public Schools, and provides private speech language services for the both to three population through Imagine! in Boulder County. Megan enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, and is thrilled to be a part of the Forest Park Montessori board.
Rebecca Holley and her husband Tommy have two sons, Jackson and Spencer. Spencer attends FPMS, where he is learning and thriving every day. Rebecca has a residential real estate business with Spaces Real Estate in Boulder. She grew up in Humboldt County, California, and attended the University of Oregon where she studied cello performance. After spending summers studying music in Aspen, she fell in love with Colorado and moved to Boulder, where she met Tommy. The Holley family is thrilled and grateful to have found their home in the FPMS family.
Sarah Ford is the mother of Louisa and Harriet Downing. She covers Colorado and the West as a producer for NBC national news. She grew up in Iowa, attended college in Minnesota, and graduate school in New York. Her family moved to Lafayette from Los Angeles in December of 2015. They are thrilled that the girls are able to attend FPMS and are enjoying their new home and community.
